After twenty years of working for “The Man” and a sudden job loss I decided that it was time for me to do something that I enjoy and that makes me happy. So after some soul searching and a lot of encouragement from family members I founded Desolation Road Photo. The photography business proved a worthy challenge and now has morphed into the studio/gallery business as the opening of Desolation Road Studios has come to fruition!!! My art has become what I hope will be a way for me to show my take on my surroundings and perhaps give others a different perspective on art and perception as well as brighten lives in general in this tough economic and turbulent political time. Every day brings new challenges and the art world has never been more necessary to our country's and the world's survivaI and nourishment! I hope that people will look at my photographs and relate to them on not only their own level but perhaps see a new perspective or a fresh viewpoint. Art I believe must do that. Its supposed to get inside your head and force you to question reality or make you think in a new direction. Enjoy!
